A second marriage, done with dignity

For divorced and widowed members, and their families, who want a verified, respectful way to find a partner again.

A second rishta is harder than the first for all the wrong reasons: the same aunties, more judgement, and apps where 'divorced' becomes the only thing anyone sees. Elarove treats marital status as a fact on the profile, not a label. Members state whether they are single, divorced or widowed, and whether they have children; search lets everyone filter for what they are open to, so a divorced woman with two children is shown to men who have already said yes to exactly that.

Verification matters even more the second time. Every man is ID-checked by a person, every member confirms they are free to marry, and members can have a divorce decree, death certificate or FRC verified by staff for a 'Status verified' badge, which puts the awkward question to rest before the first conversation. The matchmaker has arranged second marriages before and speaks to both families with the care that takes.

Questions families ask

Will my profile say 'divorced' to everyone?

Marital status is shown on the profile, as it should be: hiding it never ends well. What Elarove changes is who sees you: only verified, approved members, and only the men a woman chooses see her photo. Your preferred marital status for a match is also a filter, so you reach people who are open to it.

I have children. Can I filter for people who accept that?

Yes. Number of children is a profile field and 'preferred children' is a search preference, so both sides can be clear from the start.

How do I prove my divorce is final?

Upload the divorce decree or certificate (or an FRC, or a spouse's death certificate for widowed members) from Settings. A member of staff checks it and your profile gets the 'Status verified' badge. The document is never shown to members.
